Robert Novak reported in his article today, "Attorney General Edwards" that if Barack Obama is elected he will name John Edwards as Attorney General. Aside from the unmitigated disaster this would be for American business life and freedom FROM workforce unionization, it seems like a very smart strategic move from team Obama.
1. This would allow Barack HUSSEIN Obama to wrap up even more critical union backing in the form of endorsements, campaign workers, and deep pocket contributions. The unions LOVE John Edwards and his backing of Obama could do the trick. This is CRITICAL for Barack to beat the Clintons.
2. Although John Edwards is running a weak third place right now, his support is far more loyal to his hard left anti-corporate, frothing-at-the-mouth, class warfare message. They are also very anti-Hillary because they don't trust her as a "class warrior."
If Edwards endorses Obama, expect AT LEAST two-thirds of his voters to support Barack; possibly more. It seems maybe Barack is more formidable than we thought...Stay tuned!
