I would add, "one who believes in human liberty and the maximum possible amount of human freedom within the minimum constraints of an unobtrusive government."
Far too often we refer to leftist totalitarians as Liberals. NOTHING could be further from the truth. The terms "liberal" and "conservative" are actually synonymous.
1. Leftists would seize ever-larger (35% and more) portions of your life in the form of taxes and "fees" to distribute to those who DIDN'T earn it. AKA slackers.
LIBERALS would never dream of such theft.
2. Leftists enthusiastically suport those power hungry politicians who limit our G-d given freedom of speech via legislation, "political correctness" and campus speech codes.
LIBERALS would never dream of such a trespass.
3. Leftists view individuals who wish to "keep and bear arms" as a threat to the power of the State.
LIBERALS understand that the all-powerful state is a threat to ALL individuals.
4. Leftists seek to blame man for the Earth's changing climate and use that blame as a vehicle to destroy property rights and many of our other freedoms. They are comfortable using quasi-fascistic government power to regulate businesses and individuals, calling them "carbon polluters."
LIBERALS understand that psuedoscientific fraud for what it is!
5. Leftists justify--and sometimes celebrate--the practice of scooping a perfectly healthy 8.5 month old baby out of it's mother and murdering it moments before taking it from the birth canal. Sometimes babies are "inconvenient." BUT fight to protect baby seals.
LIBERALS call this "infanticide" and condemn this modern day Eugenics Movement.
6. Leftists wage an all-out war against the Judeo-Christian tradition in America, calling all who oppose them "intolerant."
LIBERALS understand that the Leftist/Fascist worldview doesn't bear up well under Judeo-Christian moral scrutiny.
7. Leftists hysterically oppose capital punishment and hold all night vigils for some of the world's most vicious creatures, while CELEBRATING the practice of aborting babies.
LIBERALS understand the abject evil of an upside-down morality.
8. Leftists defend depravity in all it's different forms, while feeling justified in telling a restaurant owner that he CANNOT allow smoking!
LIBERALS understand fascism perfectly well.
9. Leftists TORTURE the language by changing the meanings of words when they happen to be inconvenient.
LIBERALS understand that Mao, Stalin, Hitler, and Mussolini would be proud of their leftist progeny.
10. Leftists alter history gleefully while ignoring it's true lessons.
LIBERALS understand that leftists are always pushing the Big Lie.
11. Leftists seek to grant RIGHTS TO ANIMALS!
LIBERALS understand that this ploy is nothing more than another atack on the rights of individuals. Animals have NO responsibilties, therefore they CANNOT have rights.
You could probably add an entire list of your own to these leftist assaults against reason and the G-d given rights of their fellow man.
Know this: Leftists DESPISE the rights of free people, they only seek to grant moral license. A society that that been totally undermined by lack of restraint where sexual morality and drugs are concerened is easier to enslave. That's the ultimate goal of leftists, NOT LIBERALS!
To you leftists out there, your fascist fathers would be proud of your "progress."
